Effective January 1, 2025, Sovereign Medical will no longer provide sales and distribution services to its medical device customers.

MED Alliance Group is pleased to announce it will assume the sales and distribution services previously provided by Sovereign Medical, a medical device distributor serving the eastern United States since 2003.

MED Alliance Group signed an agreement to purchase Sovereign Medical’s assets and distribution rights, effective January 1, 2025.

Based just outside of Chicago, Illinois, MED Alliance is a specialty medical device distributor with more than 25 years of experience in the sales, marketing, importation, logistics and distribution of innovative medical devices.

The agreement expands the MED Alliance distribution territory from the Midwest to the eastern United States, covering areas from New York to Florida.

“We are working closely with product manufacturers and the Sovereign Medical team to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted transition for customers,” said MED Alliance President Mike Schroeder. “Customers will have access to the same products and will likely work with the same knowledgeable sales representatives they are accustomed to while our customer service and warehouse teams will make sure products are ordered and delivered accurately and on time.”

“This agreement presents additional opportunities for MED Alliance to grow by expanding our customer base and product portfolio,” said MED Alliance Owner and CEO Mike Crawford. “With this addition, MED Alliance will now represent almost 50% of the United States in the acute, critical care and fire/EMS space.”
