Danny Ties by Respiralogics are unique tracheostomy tube holders made of soft, absorbent cotton that fit around the neck and lay smooth at the edges of the collar, minimizing skin irritation and reducing skin breakdown under the collar. The patent pending one-piece design evenly distributes the quilted collar around the neck to minimize pressure points on the skin and securely hold the artificial airway in place to prevent accidental dislodgement.

The tapered ends on the collar straps make Danny Ties easy to apply. The ends thread easily through the eyelets of the tracheostomy tube, allowing for quick application and changes of the collar position. Engineered to hold its shape, the device will not fold in half around the neck when the patient turns or stretch when it absorbs moisture.

Danny Ties are available in three sizes to accommodate the smallest and largest of patients. They are a single patient-use device and may be washed, dried and reused per institutional policy.

Jimmy Proof Straps

Jimmy Proof Straps are an anti-disconnect device intended to secure the ventilator circuit connector to the tracheostomy tube holder to help reduce risk of accidental disconnects. The one-piece design is made of cotton with reinforced stitching to prevent stretch and rolling. The center of the strap provides a stable opening for the ventilator connector to thread through the strap and the tapered ends of the strap easily attach to the tracheostomy tube collar. Jimmy Proof Straps are engineered to hold their shape with hook tab connectors to ensure a quick release when disconnect is indicated.

Jimmy Proof Straps are single patient-use items and are individually packaged in environmentally friendly packaging.
